Microneedling

Microneedling is a skin-rejuvenating procedure that utilizes fine needles to puncture the skin and promote an increase in collagen and new skin tissue

It can be used to treat fine lines, brown spots, stretch marks, and hair loss. The results of the procedure is to achieve smoother, firmer and more even-toned skin. It is primarily used on the face and may treat scars, including acne scars, as well. Microneedling works by causing very small pinpricks to the skin, which responds by making new collagen-rich tissue. Clayton Dermatology Group uses a topical anesthetic prior to the procedure in order to provide a comfortable procedure. Treatments are done in sets of 3, 1 month apart.
Clayton Dermatology Group consults with each patient to determine the best treatment or combination of treatments to address the effects of aging on the skin.
